W.E.B. Du Bois Essay On Lifting Americans Up. And Breitbart's John Hayward With The Latest on Iran

Episode Summary

After the Karmelo Anthony guilty verdict, some in the Black community were angry, charging racism. It reminded Mike of an essay by the civil rights leader W.E.B. du Bois where he advocated for the top Black students to be given higher education as the way for Blacks to achieve equality. Yet incredibly, these days advanced placement classes have been cancelled and many colleges no longer require the SAT for admission. It's gotten to the point where many college students, of all races, can barely read well enough to perform college work. Should we bring back elite education for elite students, regardless of background? And Breitbart News' National Security Deputy Editor John Hayward says the U.S. was literally hours from attacking Iran again when the announcement of a new ceasefire and possible deal came through. Except we don't know any details yet. Does Iran mean it this time? Or are they just playing for time? John analyzes and predicts how this will play out.
